Omak
Cultural memory, designed into everyday play.
Production brief
The Omak project brief proposes a playground whose forms connect children’s play with the traditions of the Confederated Tribes of the Colville Reservation. Dwelling shapes, salmon, water, canoes and horses give the design its references. The intention is to put cultural memory inside a place children can use together.
